Today’s Bets: Part 2

The Fundamentals

Paul George v MIN

  • Stake: 1 Unit

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $6.00+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: None Preferred.

My Thoughts:

He's playing at an MVP calibre level at the moment. Similar to his "MVP" season lol. In all seriousness if we ignore what PG says in the media and judge him by his numbers and on court performance he's an awesome player. He's hit this line 2 games this season and in the last season he was playing at this level 18-19 he hit it 6 times. So he's more than capable and we're getting good odds here against a Timberwolves team that are giving up a tonne of points to the Small Forward position.

LaMelo Ball v SAC

  • Stake: 1.5 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $5.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: Ladbrokes.

My Thoughts:

LaMelo is listed as probable against the Kings. The Kings are ranked bottom 10 in defense and top 10 in Pace. This is a recipe for a very high scoring game with the Hornets also ranked top 10 in Pace. Let's go LaMelo 🔥🔥🔥

Domantas Sabonis v POR

  • Stake: 2.5 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $3.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: None Preferred.

My Thoughts:

Domantas a big multi skilled big man. He's hit this line in 28 of his last 71 games including 2 this season and 1 of 1 vs the Trailblazers. Lets go big fella, do your thing 🔥🔥🔥

Jonas Valanciunas v GSW

  • Stake: 3 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $2.80+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: Ladbrokes.

My Thoughts:

Jonas sees a nice matchup today against the Golden State Warriors who have been playing small. It will be hard for our man defensively. But he should have a nice game on offense against the Warriors, especially with Brandon Ingram out.

Today’s Bets

The Fundamentals

Ja Morant v WAS

  • Stake: 1.5 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $5.00+

  • Best Bookmaker: Pointsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: Sportsbet.

My Thoughts:

Ja has been on a tear to start the season averaging 27ppg 5.5rpg 7.5apg on good shooting splits 52/36/74. Do I believe the improvement is real?

Yes, I think he's turning into a bona fide superstar. We're betting here that he uses all his dribble penetration and court vision to get the guys other going today. The Wizards have been playing bottom 10 point guard defense, but are especially bad when it comes to giving up assists to Point Guards. Have fun enjoy the show and go Ja 🔥🔥🔥

Jerami Grant v BKN

  • Stake: 2 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $4.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet.

  • Other Bookmakers: Ladbrokes (with the assist line over 2.5 assists @7.95. I'd recommend to bet 1.5 units. Official tip above).

My Thoughts:

Jerami hit this line for us yesterday and has hit it twice on the season. He's playing the second half of a back to back against the Nets. Now he doesn't have the best career numbers in back to backs however this is a little easier as the Pistons are playing at home. There is no travel factor involved. For their part the Brooklyn Nets have been getting killed by wing players and Jerami plays plenty of his minutes on the wing and only some inside. Go Jerami 🔥🔥🔥

Dejounte Murray

  • Stake: 2 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $4.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet.

  • Other Bookmakers: Ladbrokes & Pointsbet.

My Thoughts:

Dejounte is in the midst of a breakout season averaging career highs across the board, he has hit this line in 3 out of 8 games and is a real triple double threat. He's averaging 34.1 MPG and 16.9 FGA. He went very close to this line against the Magic last time they played in the Spurs season opener. For their part the Magic have been playing amazing defense against the Point Guard position however they have only played 2 games where the oppositions point guard was the "main guy". I'm leaning towards Dejountes' breakout being a little more sustainable than the Magic defense. Go Dejounte 🔥🔥🔥

Giannis Antetokounmpo v NYK

  • Stake: 1.5 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $8.00+

  • Best Bookmaker: Pointsbet.

  • Other Bookmakers: Ladbrokes & Sportsbet (On SB, I'd look to play the alt under 29 points 1.5 units @$7.75 )

My Thoughts:

Giannis has hit this line 2 games this season and 14 games since last season. He's hit it vs the Knicks with Jrue Holiday in the lineup. Does that mean he will definately hit it today? No. But it goes to show that he can while playing alongside a quality Point Guard. Let's go Giannis 🔥🔥🔥

Fred VanVleet v CLE

  • Stake: 1.5 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $6.00+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet.

  • Other Bookmakers: Ladbrokes.

My Thoughts:

16 games of his last 58. 1 game so far this season. The Cavs are giving up plenty of Points to the Point Guard position and a little less assists. Lets go Fred do your thing 🔥🔥🔥
