Today’s Bets: Part 2

The Fundamentals

Chris Paul v HOU

  • Stake: 1 Unit

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $6.00+

  • Best Bookmaker: Pointsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: Sportsbet..

My Thoughts:

CP3 is averaging 13ppg 4.3rpg 11.8apg to start the season and has hit this line in 2 of the 6 games this season. Now the Rockets surprisingly are pretty good at stopping Point Guards from scoring thus far this season. They are however giving up a heap of assists to PGs and CP3 has been in a passing mood so far this season. CP3 is third all time in assists 10346 in his career and I feel good to be in a position to be on him to assist 10 more times for us. Lets go CP3 🔥🔥🔥

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander v LAL

  • Stake: 3 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $3.00+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet.

  • Other Bookmakers: None Preferred.

My Thoughts:

SGA has hit this line in 2 games this season including a game against the Lakers. He's also been pretty good for us on the SGMs. He's averaging 22.9ppg 5.1rpg 3.6apg with decent shooting splits. The Lakers are 2nd in the NBA in pace with a league average defense 8 games into the season. It should give SGA plenty of opportunity to rack up stats today.

Today’s Bets

The Fundamentals

Jerami Grant v PHI

  • Stake: 2 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $4.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: None Preferred..

My Thoughts:

He's hit this line once for us this season and has gone very close a couple of other times. If we're getting these odds I'm happy to take it. Jerami is averaging 16.8ppg 5.0rpg 2.0apg in 31mpg on 14.8 FGA he's seeing plenty of opportunity.

Trae Young v UTA

  • Stake: 2 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $4.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Pointsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: Sportsbet (Use Alt Lines, accept over $4.50)

My Thoughts:

Our bookie friends are making a big deal of the Jazz PG Assist defense numbers, do I think it’s real? Maybe? But I think even if they are the best in the league at that, the numbers from the first few games are largely skewed due to who was playing at the PG position and some minutes.

Will the Jazz try to force Trae to score, or will they play more conventional style? Can’t wait to see, but, for now we stay on Trae, probably the best passer in the league to get the assists one more time.

Jaylen Brown v MIA

  • Stake: 2 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $4.25+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: None Preferred.

My Thoughts:

Jaylen hit this for us yesterday and 2 games so far this season. He's a very good offensive player is in good form and performed well in back to backs last season. Averaging 26.9ppg 6.3rpg 2.6apg 50.7FG% 37.7 3P% so far this season. The Celtics are up against a very stout Miami defense 2nd in Drtg and will need Jaylen to be at his best to hit this line.
