Kalyn Ponga doesn’t mind a try against the Titans. Ponga has scored in three out of five career games and has scored in two out of three of his first matches of the season for the Knights. Phillip Sami loves scoring against the Knights with four tries in four career games. All of Sami’s tries have come on the wing where he will be moving to this week. Were looking at a longer odds bet in this game, but still have a great edge on it. Ryan Papenhuyzen is in terrific form, scoring in two of his three games this season for six tries. Josh Addo-Carr has a terrific record against the Bulldogs with three doubles in his last three matches against them. Nick Cotric gets the better side matchup for the Bulldogs up against the Storm right edge. Although it was for the Raiders, Cotric scored four tries in three games against the Storm last season. James Tedesco has been in great form all season, and should have his way again this week. Tedesco has scored in every game so far this season. The Roosters are still a class above the Sharks who look like they will struggle against top 8 teams this season. Best odds are at Topsport, but you can take $2.2 or better elsewhere. 3 Units.
The Roosters have covered this line in every win this season, and have also covered it in the last four matches against the Sharks. Joseph Manu is looking more involved each week and has scored three tries in his last four matches against the Sharks. Traditionally the Sharks struggle against Roosters centres. Kyle Feldt and Valentine Holmes both have terrific try-scoring records against the West Tigers. Feldt has 7 tries in 6 games and Holmes has 6 tries in 5 games against the Tigers. Holmes has started to take on a lot more of the playmaking role since his switch to fullback, and always backs himself to get over the line. Feldt is returning from suspension, not injury, which doesn’t affect his try-scoring appeal. The Tigers have conceded 5 tries apiece to both the Fullback and Right-Wing positions this season. The best odds are at Topsport but you can take down to $5.70 at other books. 1.5 Units.
We have a great SGM here with 2 players that should be heavily involved in the red zone. Maika Sivo has 3 tries already this season and has already scored 3 tries in his 3 matches against the Dragons. The Dragons have also been much weaker with their right edge defence, leaking 3 tries to the left-wing position already this season.
Mikaele Ravalawa has a terrific record scoring against the Eels, grabbing 4 tries in his 3 matches against the club. Ravalawa on the left-wing also gets the terrific matchup against the Eels defensively weaker right edge. The Eels have conceded 3 tries to the left-wing position already this season. Ravalawa has also been in good form himself this season with 2 tries and another couple brought back.
The Eels should be too strong for the Dragons, with their defence leading from the front. The Eels have won 8 of the last 10 matches vs the Dragons and are a tier above them this season. Take odds down to $4.90. 2 Units.
