Today’s Bets: Part 3

The Fundamentals

Anthony Edwards v ORL

  • Stake: 2 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $5.00+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: Ladbrokes.

My Thoughts:

Anthony Edwards: 3 games of 5 this season. 14 of his last 42. I still believe the scoring development from Anthony, the rebounding looks to be for real. A key danger for this bet here is the under assists given his development as a ball handler and a passer. He's averaging 3 assists on the dot but has gone under 3.5 in 4 of 5 games hence the under. Go get it Anthony.

Today’s Bets: Part 2

The Fundamentals

RJ Barrett v TOR

  • Stake: 2 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $4.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: None Preferred.

My Thoughts:

RJ has hit this line in about 25% of games since last season. Once this season, but he seems to be coming into his own role now. Has had back to back 30 point games. Let's see if he can make it 3 on the trot. One factor against could be the Raptors defense positionally vs Small Forwards they are elite. Shooting guards about average. RJ plays his minutes at both positions and I think they'll have their hands full with Julius Randle and co leaving RJ to do his thing.

Zach LaVine v BOS

  • Stake: 2.5 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $3.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: None Preferred.

My Thoughts:

Hit this line in 34% of games since last year. Including 3 games of 6 this season. Scored 25 and 30 against the Celtics last season and their Shooting guard defense has been below average this year. I like Zach LaVine in this spot. Go Zach

Today’s Bets

The Fundamentals

CJ McCollum v PHI

  • Stake: 2 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $3.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: None Preferred.

My Thoughts:

CJ has hit this line in about 30% of games the past 3 seasons. He's hit it once this year. Yesterday against the Hornets. He performs to his averages on the second half of back to backs and on the season is averaging 24.3ppg 3.7rpg 3.5apg.

Darius Garland & Collin Sexton v CHO

  • Stake: 1.5 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $7.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: Ladbrokes.

My Thoughts:

SexLand 13 of last 43 games together. Darius Garland is the starting PG on the Cavs, something that maybe a threat to our bet is if Ricky Rubio has a great game off the bench and affects the rotation. They hit this line against the Charlotte Hornets in 2 of 2 games last season. The Hornets are currently top 10 in the league in pace and have the 3rd worst defensive rating (points allowed per 100 possessions) so they play fast and give up plenty of points per possession. It makes for fun games to watch and plenty of scoring opportunities for those involved. Let's all get on the train to SexLand.

Domantas Sabonis

  • Stake: 2.5 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $3.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: Ladbrokes.

My Thoughts:

Hit this line in 25% of games since last season. Averaged 21 ppg 12.8rpg 9.6apg in 12 games without Malcolm Brogdon last year he really has taken on a much bigger workload these past 2 games also 25%USG in last game out.

Spencer Dinwiddie v ATL

  • Stake: 2.5 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $4.20+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: Pointsbet (Under 4.5 Rebounds okay over $6, but SB preferred)

My Thoughts:

Spence has hit this 31 games in his last 72. 1 game so far this season. 2 of his last 4 vs the Hawks. Spencer has come back nicely from injury this season and is averaging 19.8ppg 5.4rpg 5.6apg. Let's go Spencer Dinwiddie!!!

Nikola Jokić

  • Stake: 2 Units

  • Minimum Acceptable Odds: $4.50+

  • Best Bookmaker: Sportsbet

  • Other Bookmakers: Pointsbet & Ladbrokes.

My Thoughts:

Jokic is starting to regress to the mean points wise, and assists are starting to rise, we are still seeing value and hopefully today is the day we snipe the value bet!
