The Panthers look to be an elite football team this season and will have their eyes set on taking it the distance this season. The Panthers have already had a 40 point victory over the Sea Eagles this season and their team will be stronger this week with Dylan Edwards and Api Koroisau joining the squad. The Sea Eagles are coming into this game on the back of 3 victories, but we have to look at who they’ve played. Victories over the Warriors, Titans and Tigers don’t put you in the same class as the Panthers. The Panthers have slowed down as of late but have a perfect matchup to show their attack is lethal. Nathan Cleary is always a try-scoring threat with his penchant to dart at the line and secure interceptions. Cleary has 2 tries in the last 3 weeks and looks to be just warming up. We get a Saturday night match that has a disproportionate line due to a few Roosters injuries. James Tedesco is a dangerous player but people underestimate just how good Joseph Manu can be in his stead. The Roosters are stacked with outside backs and can bring Matt Ikuvalu onto the wing, who would be a starting player on every other team in the league. The Knights last 2 losses have both been by over 13 points and have been lucky to begin the season against mostly poor opposition. four of the Roosters five wins have been by over 13 points and the Sharks match would have gone that way if there was an extra 5 minutes in the match. The Melbourne Storm is heads and tails better than the Sharks this season. Not only this but the Sharks look to be beginning a downward spiral after their loss to the Bulldogs last week. The Storm has had big wins against the Sharks in their last 2 matches against them in Melbourne. The Storm is also in the middle of a great run of form, where they are putting the hammer down on weaker teams. The Broncos will want to get their revenge in this match after being beaten early in the season. The Broncos have come in this line in all 3 of their home games already this season. The Broncos have lost to the Titans already this season, but that shouldn’t deter their confidence as they go searching for their 2nd win of the season. The Titans have been struggling in Away games all season, and although there’s not a lot of travel involved they are in a bad spot this week. The Rabbitohs are a physical football team and 5/6 teams that have played them this season have gone on to lose the following week. The Broncos will leave everything on the field this week.
