Steelers/Bears Total Points Under 40 - Stake 2.5 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Sportmarket
We have two of the best Under teams this season playing each other on Monday Night Football. Combined these teams have gone 3-12 or 80% to the under. Both these teams are in the bottom 5 in passing offense and have allowed the 6th and 7th least passing yards this season. Both teams have defenses that are much better than their offenses and conservative play calling. This all points us to having a slow low scoring match.
Najee Harris SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.5, Best Book - BET365
Najee Harris has become a larger and larger piece of the Steelers offence in recent weeks, especially in the run game. Harris has cleared this total in 4 of his last 5 matches and has a great matchup this week with the Steelers looking to keep the clock moving. Harris has scored a touchdown in his last 4 matches and is a great dual-threat in the red zone. No Steelers game has gone over this points total all season.
NB; If you can’t get the total yards over for Harris I would look towards the rushing yards over 81.5, but for bookkeeping purposes it is the total yards we will be assessing the bet on.
Monday 8th November
Titans @ Rams Sunday Night Football
Rams SGM - Stake 1.5 Units, Minimum Odds 4.0, Best Book - Sportsbet
The Titans have quietly been very strong against the run this season and have only allowed one runner to go over this total all season. If this is a close game the ball will be put in Stafford’s hands and if it’s a walkover, Sony Michel will take a good portion of the carries. Cooper Kupp has scored in 6 of 8 games this season and he has a brilliant matchup in the slot today. With no Derrick Henry, I like the Rams to get a comfortable win today.
Cooper Kupp 2+ Touchdowns - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 3.5, Best Book - Lads/Neds
Cooper Kupp has scored 2 touchdowns in 4 of 8 games this season and gets a terrific matchup today. Stafford will be looking his way in the Red Zone.
Friday 5th November
Jets @ Colts, Thursday Night Football
Colts/Jets SGM - Stake 1 Unit, Minimum Odds 4.7, Best Book - BET365
We’re getting some great value on a game that doesn’t project to be the best watching. Michael Carter has taken off in the last few weeks especially in the passing game. Carter has a brilliant connection with Mike White who will once again be searching for his safety blanket in a match the Jets are expected to be behind in. Zach Pascal was being talked about early in the season after he got a few early touchdowns, however, the usage and yards are just not there for him. Pascal has gone under this receiving total in 7 of his 8 matches. Jonathan Taylor has been on a touchdown scoring run, scoring in his last 5 games straight. The Jets have given up a league-high 11 rushing touchdowns to running backs this season.
Colts/Jets Under 46 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - Sportmarket
Early Lines
Broncos @ Cowboys
Cowboys/Broncos Under 49.5 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - Sportmarket
The Broncos started the season well but have shown their inability to move the ball on offence in recent games. The Cowboys have shown a defence that is stronger than it looks on paper and will be hampered at the quarterback position once again this week. If Prescott plays, he will not be 100% and if Cooper Rush plays he will not have the same success as there is game tape on him now. Defence comes to the front on this one and the run game keeps the clock running.
Browns @ Bengals
Browns +2.5 - Stake 2 Units, Minimum Odds 1.87, Best Book - Sportmarket
The Bengals record does not fully show the quality of this team and the same can be said for the Browns. The Bengals struggled against the Jets and it doesn’t get any easier for them against a division rival that needs to get the win. The Browns are getting healthier each week and go time is now for them. Odell Beckham Jr is out and honestly they may be a good thing for the Browns. I expect business to resume as usual for both these teams this week and set the tone for the second halves of their seasons.
Falcons @ Saints
Saints -6 - Stake 3 Units, Minimum Odds 1.9, Best Book - Sportmarket
The Saints have lost their starting quarterback for the season and I couldn’t be higher on them in this spot. The Saints came into the season knowing they were going to have to win games another way and whether the quarterback is Winston, Hill or Siemian the game plan doesn’t change. We will still see lots of Alvin Kamara, We will still see deep shots down the field and we will see a suffocating defence who will be responsible for the win. If it wasn’t for an overtime capitulation against the Giants, the Saints would be 6-1. The Saints could even be 7-0 if it wasn’t for them losing all their coaches to Covid protocol against the Panthers. Giving under 7 points on the spread is too good to be true against the Falcons who will be without Calvin Ridley.
