Statistical factors.

• Zach LaVine has hit this line 17 times this season.

• He averages 3.3 3pm per game on 41% shooting.

Context.

The Hawks are generally a lacklustre defence when it comes to defending perimeters players. Both teams are trying to win at this stage of the season. LaVines role has changed since Vucevic has come on board; his FGA has decreased. He had 13 assists last game out, I watched that game, and the Raptors were doubling, high hedging, blitzing and denying him off-ball. He pretty much walked into that 13 assist game. I don't think Capela and Okongwu want to see LaVine on the perimeter. He'll put them on skates. They'll try different coverages, maybe ice screens, drop, a bit of hedge, and possibly recover. Either way, the boys are in trouble.
